mike can you describe some of the rifles they use on the hunts...??

I would want to know what the stupidest thing they have seen a American (or any guy) do on a hunt.... IE @$$ shoot a MomBongo (Buff) or try and "fit a shot in" with one of the bad 5, use a marginal caliber or untested rifle.

Used to read all of Peter Hathaway Capstick's books, and was always intriqued. Not really wanting to go mess with one of them in person... but DAMN I want to shoot a buf!

How close have they come to meeting their maker? Weather it from being charged by an unseen animal or tracking a wounded one.....and what is their favorite game to persue? I have never been interested in buffalo hunting,if i ever do make it over there i have always wanted to hunt Kudu.....just such a beautiful animal....and other plains game i guess.

Most of their storys are buff or leapord. The leapard ones are my favorite. One was an american client pissing himself after he killed a male and his mate attacked them as they walked up and allister shot as it slid up to the dudes toes. Buff stories where the client breaks away from the group and runs up to the animal with guy the ph screaming at him to stop and the animal hooks dudes rifle rigjht out of his hands. They are all bolts or double rifles. They are not allopwed any semi autos. A couple of phs use a shotgun and 3 1/2 000 buckshot to back up cats but most use a 454 double or something similar. The shorts thing is based on comfort and availability. They are rugby shorts which everyone plays over there. They say they don't get scratched but you could tell they get that question a lot and it makes them uncomfoprtable. All super cool guys and I could not pick a better man for my baby sister!
