We hade a slow day today on them but when I found them, the bite it was on, on, on! We had 4 I think it was in the 4 pound range, lost 1 that should be about 6#s at the boatand was as fast as you could go for over an hour. Amases me how it can stop so quickly...

Cheap Sea Striker rod & a big knot, will do it all the time.
Our bite turned on when the tide changed, we caught 5 on 5 cast about a rod lenght from the boat & then it turned off - just as quick...........ICM
Great video Captain Lee. Looked like a lot of fun. The title sounds like a great idea. I would take either one but both is just icing on the cake. Congratulations to you and your crew on a great day. Thanks for sharing. Slip.
Nice gottaflylee!
Thanks for the #12 treble tip. Never tried that, but I will now!
Great post. That was no small net you were tossing, either. What is that thing? 10 or 12 feet? I can't make a six footer open half the time.
Ok comming soon...Lou, WHERE ARE YOU, I need you HELP!![]()

Shrimp net is 10 foot, 3/8 marsh (mesh for those that are not familiar with net terms). For Menhaden its 10 foot on windy days and 12' on calm days! I throw it a little different from most as I do not want the lead line in my mouth!
