Also got mine from Eyecatcher, they pull very nice and use it for one of my flatlines with an islander and hoo. Then I put a naked off the short about 6' aft and starboard of the Shower
I ran my variation last year on a couple trips...short rigger, saw lots of action.
I use seven 4 inch hoochie squids rigged "reverse style" from the main line with a small zuker/hoo as the chase bait. Blue/silver squids and blue/white zuker chase bait or black/purple squids, black/purple zuker chase bait. Probably going to make a pink one this year too as one of my BEST baits last year was 5 pink hoochies in-line with a pink/white Islaner junior chase bait (med hoo of course). A wahoo finally took my Islander end of last season so I need another one to replace it.
Jimmy, I'll try the sea star or sailure next time...those are two of my favorites for sure.
I run one off the long rigger with a small pink and white Islander with Hoo about 6' behind the shower. Have raised and hooked 2 Sails with this rig. It's one of our favorite when hunting Sailfish.
Ya i havent made them for the sale yet iTYs the daisy chain style dropper rigs 6 to 7 per chain...But Man they work..I use Calcuttas little bait skirt..The secret to getting the perfect action Is how lite they are...You need they baits as lite a possiable...
