Shouldn't this water sart to hold some Spanish?

Has anyone been fishing for these latley? Water certainly looks like it's heating up. The other day it was only 65 degrees off the ILM coast.

Hi Bite me, Don't know what phase the moon is in but the "span dogs" should show good around Full moon of May. You should find the spring Kings around now...I like to target them on my Trout Rods. Can't believe I have to day off. Been running hard and need the break to straighten out the boat and catch up on SFC. Will be home next Sat. PM... I need a salt fix bad... sounds like I'll get it as the Predator is booked up for the next couple of weeks. Fishing is good here now, had a 100 fish day yesterday, Damn my hands hurt!

May 13 is the full moon. Old timers swear by the May full moon for the first big push of flounders inshore as well.
I hope the spanish will be here this week. Need'em bad for Hatteras bait!

Bite Me, A few have been caught in the past weeks in Beaufort inlet that I know of. Havent heard of them in great numbers yet.

trolled all around WB and Masonburo sat. a.m with no spanish. Got a 10lb blue and some flounder but no spanish. Hopefully this week they'll come on in. TONS of blues.

spanish and blues are being caught trolling around outside the hook, and along the rock jetty down at cape lookout lou. visual verification was made by myself as i was inspecting jerry's cooler after we came in yesterday.

Should be any day Lou. DAMIFINO and I crushed them a few years back about this time of year. Turkey season was just over with and we were sporting duck parkas pulling #00 gold spoons out in front of the gunmounts and shoals. Waylaying HUGE spanish on ABU 6500's. Good day on the water w/ a good friend.

Well tons of blues this morning..pretty big blues at that. Heard some guys talking about spanish towards CB inlet gettin some pretty decent bites. Might try that out soon. Will post if any luck.

There were a few caught @ Beaufort inlet again this wknd.Not great #'s yet but they are getting better,still more blues than spanish.
