The problem with that set-up with water in it the bait will cook. Try putting some ice and salt in the bottom without water. This will keep the bait cold and ready to go.

In a pitch tube there always crushed ice throughout the day not water. I do not add anymore powdered brine as my baits are always prepped and brined at least 3/4 of a day prior to fishing. A good bait will not soften or come apart in the tube

its a good idea. I put an "L" shaped bracket on the top side of it with a hole drilled into it. You know he black balls that hold the rocket launcher in place. I secured the tubes to each side of it and had two pitch bait tube on either side of the chair. One was larger than the other for a ballyhoo and mack on either side of the chair with the rods in the rocket launcher.

If you have a different way that works for you thats great. I dont "blackball" that at all. The bracket idea might help someone out to get it to work for their boat. These are just tips and are open to constructive criticism.

Yo brain
I think he meant to type "the" instead of "he" when he was decsribing the black balls that hold the rocket launcher.
