    SHORT BUS Tip#2 Pit organization

I have only seen 2 guys here on this board use this type of organization. Jake and Marty. I am sure there are others that I have not fished with yet. I know it has saved me in a pinch since I saw it several years ago.

Find some type of old plano box and use it to your advantage to keep you oranized in the pit. By doing this it will keep you from having to dig through your other tackle when time and space area at a premium during the bite.

Most meatfish tripsI keep an extra squid skirt, weights ,hooks, zip ties, beads and a monel bobbin along with different types of swivels and wire tool on one side of mine.

On the other side I keep different sizes of the crimps that I use the most along with some toothy protection

The contents of this box change from trip to trip. But by loading it up with popular "for use" items you can keep it neat in your pit and leave it out with your rigging tools. This should allow you to keep more bait in the water longer therefore allowing you to catch more fish.
