The first one, which the rod is in is a picture of the ship from a LCU in the Indian Ocean. They let us go out to do a little fishing. Didn't catch much but it was noce to "get away from home for a while".
I thank you guys for your kind words. I have been out for a few years now but not a day goes by that I don't think about it and the men and women still there.

Question. Are the bombs that are slung under the Harriers dimpled for FRAG effect? Or is that just how they are made?
First do you need an additional login to post videos? I have a few that you guys would really like but I can't figure out how to do it. I clicked video as another thread mentioned and signed up for a logon but nothing happened.

A few more of the "fishing trip in the Indian Ocean... Notice the doors in the back of the ship are open, drive right in and they close the doors and pump the water out.
Caught some guys on "days off" target practicing and playing golf. We used to skeet shoot too.
Italy and Bahrain. I had to take a picture of the firebird cause no one would have believed me... walking down the street and come across a cherry 1969 Firebird 400 Ram-air, notice the tag.
