what a great catch! I caught my first "respectable" drum off the beach in Hatteras as well. I probably threw my rod down in the sand too

fishing was slow with only 1 sm blue and 1 blowfish caught other than this big 'un. 9/11 mullet schools were in the wash as far as you could see up n down the beach at #39 just south of Avon. after that the water dirtied up and they were further offshore
