Thank you very much, Marty. Your comments are appreciated more than you will ever know and it was very gracious of you to make them.

Hind ends chopped off are usually mako bites - especially if you know the shape of their jaws and the slashes they put in things that they chop. Sounds like a big one, too!

    Ted,

Glad to hear that the SuperBars punched a few out for you last season, which surely was a tough one. Good luck with the new ones - they'll troll great from real slow to 12 knots plus.

    Come onnnn tunas!

I had a mako come in and hit the middle of green machine tuna bar and mashed everything but the hook out east of Chatham. Completely destroyed the bar. Coincidence? Or do they hate green?

Green was hot last year for me too.

Every Mako that we caught was on a bait with a green skirt.

Granted two of them were pitch baits that we fed to them at the side of the boat..... but still!

    Green? Makos?

    Nah! (LOL!)

Green pitch bait with short, giant squid fillet & circle hook.

Hays Stainless kill hook, for pitch baits for fish to be taken.

Boomer Surface Teaser (unbelievable strikes, threshers & makos!) Beware of GBFT.

Simple, deadly spread. This is it...no more stuff in the water.

    Whole bait teaser leader.
