As I mentioned on the other forum, the classified section on the site is a powerful tool. I have sold everything that I have put on there.

    My two recommendations are:

    1. price it realistically for this market .... which might be painful but there are some amazing deals out there right now.

    2. LOTS OF PICTURES .... the more pics the better and a running video would be even better. Don't know if you are a "sales" person or not but pictures and, even more so, video, helps people envision themselves in the boat and awakens the emotional side of the process. People buy on emotion.

    Sales 101.

    Hope this is helpful.

Put it on every site you can find, I did and luckily it sold with in 2 weeks and the asking and getting price was almost painless

This is what i just did. We priced pretty agressively and competitively. We did not sugar coat anything. Stated everything and any potential issues up front and/or upon first conversation. While i only recieved one call from this site and it ended up being a full back-up offer we didn't need, the other site that i used "the hull truth" gave me several calls as well as the buyers and an additional backup. The more sites the better, but try to pick them to give you regional exposure. Don't forget Craigslist. just sold my truck and found our new boat one there. I have heard of several people that have had luck with angler's edge due to their exposure on multiple sites with a minimal service fee. Good luck, but the biggest seller of your boat will be its PRICE in this market. If priced right all of the above including this site should get you at a minimum tire kickers.
