Beautiful witch, love the bling. You do not need to use glue...several half hitches with waxed floss will work great.

To the "purist's" you may not need glue ( a point of pride I guess). But I use quality tying floss, clear nail polish or "Pliobond", just to be sure. Capt. Joe turned me onto the PlioBond, it work's well. When I tie my witches ,I plan on them taking a beating from fish, want them to last as long as possible. Frank

I am using rigging floss to tie it all down. Do you guys recommend super glue? My fly tying days are coming in handy.
Jet us know if you get a hookup in the tub.

Glue has at least 2 negatives in my book -

    1) Re-rigging is a pain, cuz you have to remove the old glue...

    2) if you aren't careful with the glue, a bunch of the hairs stick together and they don't spread out right...

That said I have some that were glued and the look great and run great...

I'd tell you to try some both ways - see what catches and what you prefer...

Nice skirt Hobie2. It looks very like the ones that I tie on the dredges that we sell. Very light weight and you can store 4 chains and a center chain in a quart zip lock bag for easy storage. Don't use super glue, it's too runny and will ruin your skirt. Pliobond is a rubber cement and it works great. They make a light weight and very flashy dredge with a big profile and if you loose some you haven't lost a lot of money.

Tuna Teaser1 I am getting older and can't remember what size floss you purchased. I would think that 70 lb would be a little bit large. You might have gotten some of the 50 instead of the 35 lb.

THANKS JOE SHUTE! Stemme is the one tying them --and will prob be calling for more materials soon. he says your materials are top-notch and the shipping is fast. look forward to rigging up the dredge. we will have a bally behind every witch and they will be on a double dredge (both 6 arm) with 12 droppers on each dredge. prob going to use fake ballys on the inside and real on the outside to save cost during non-tournament trips. we will def get pics of it in the water.
