    SeaBiscuit "fishing" report, July 13

    Greetings all,
    sorry I've been a little out of touch. Lil' Biscuit, Phillip, Jen and I have been on our once every other year vacation to Greece. In between visiting family, travelling about and seeing places and due to a problem with my US dial up service, I have been off line for a while.
    Visited capain Yannis' grave and his wife last week. Spoke to his children. Everyone sends their thanks to all of you who followed their stories on this site.
    We are finally in the last stage of our trip, the "family vacation" consisting of one week in the island of Kefalonia. Lil' Biscuit and I have had one chance to fish while in Astakos (caught some med bass and sea breams) but have been snorkeling a bunch!
    Been seeing some octopus and today, while snorkeling at this beach



    we actually caught one, played with him for a bit and then let him go.

    Cheers to all our friends on the site. Keep the fish chummed up for the little guy and I because we will soon return and ride the mighty atlantic ocean again.

    Hey glad to hear from you Seabiscuit. Sounds like your enjoying your vacation. I would bet the vis at that beach was unreal.

    Glad you got to visit the Captain over there too. I know he was probably watching over you and your son when you went fishing.
