SEA WITCH'S WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE?

Ok,

Lets get on with the humble sea witch, (i mean humble by appearance) these things catch fish!
What are your favourite colors / combo's, size heads? do you use red/black, purple/black with a 2oz head for hoo's.
Favourites got to be pink/crystal & blue crystal 1/2oz head for the bill's.
My main trouble is keeping them down @ 6.5knts.
How do you do it?

6.5 KNOTS IS PUSHING THE ENVELOPE FOR ME PERSONALLY.....6 IS MORE LIKE IT...AND ONE NEEDS TO ADJUST SPEED INCLUDING MYSELF WHEN GOING DOWNSEA.

1/2 OZ CHIN WEIGHT AND A 3/8 OZ WITCH LEAD HEAD IS MY PREFERENCE.....BUT THE CHIN WEIGHT SHOULD BE ADJUSTED TO A SMALLER SIZE TO FIT THE SIZE BALLYHOO YOU ARE RIGGING.

EX: CHANGE TO A 3/8 OZ CHIN...OR EVEN A 1/4 IF NEEDED

90% of the time I use 1/2oz.heads,with 1/4-1/2 oz.chinweights.Colors can run from your standbys to some weird color combos that work different times of the yr. blue/crystal,pk./crystal and grn lanterns are standard go to colors for me.I also like chartreuse/purple w/purple or chartreuse heads for hoo's,and same w/some black thrown in.Last yr.I tied some some blk./chartreuse mixed w/ grn/or chartreuse head and caught a few hoos on those.And you can't forget to add some flash,no matter what colors I use,I always add some flash to a few of ea.color combo.

I like the descriptions above just the like the rest of the NC guys. But one of my favorite colors is purple and black witch with a pink head. Also, all black hair with green flash.

Yea I've started as well. Box's and my old hands are no competition for some of these young bucks though--- The Beast's are so perfect, each and every one could be balanced on a gunpowder scale. JMS-ILM and Brandon make some really nice witches as well.

IN FEB....I MAY MIX A COUPLE COLORS IN TRYING TO SEE IF WAHOOSKI PREFERS SOME ODDBALL COLOUR.... .....BUT BY MARCH 1- LATE APR....I AM SOLID BLUE/CRYSTAL...INCLUDING WHATEVER IS ON THE SHOTGUN.....

CAUSE IT BE MAHI TIME AND A MAHI GOES EL NUTSO ON PINK HAIR...NICELY TRIMMED AN SHORT

ONE THING I NOTICE IN MY TENURE WITH BRIAN....FOR SOME REASON...AND I DON'T KNOW WHY OR AT LEAST I CAN'T DETECT WHY.....PINK "CRIMPED" HAIR ON A WITCH PUT THE MAHIS IN ATTACK FORMATION!...NOT STRAIGHT HAIR BUT CRIMPED....I THINK IT IS GERMAN MADE HAIR
