Angry sea tow warning!!

If you have sea tow and you fish out of OI your coverage area just dropped. They only cover 10 miles from the sea bouy!! That's it!! I confirmed it last week with sea tow out of OI. Boat US still covers 50 miles on their unlimited plan which cost 120.00 - 140.00 depending on where you sign up at. If you fish out of Hatteras they only have boat us towing out of hatteras as well!!

SEA\\TOW

HAY swancaller, where did you get your information. I did not tell anybody that SEA\\TOW OREGON INLET has changed it's policy at Oregon Inlet!! We have not limited coverage to 10 miles. The AOR always has been 10 miles. the CG AOR is 40 miles. Last week we responded 25 miles SE for a member. We have been 50 miles. There is no limit.

BE A MAN AND CALL ME DIRECT!!!!!!

Capt. Wescott,
For what it is worth, Swanacaller is a personal friend of mine and I talked to him about this on the Phone yesterday. Mike (Swancaller) was very disappointed as he had nothing but good things to say about Seatow's prior service around the OI area--- hense, his disappointment over his understanding of this change in policy.
Hopefully, Mike's information regarding this supposed new policy is wrong. Perhaps you can clarify Seatow's policy out of OI?
BTW, Mike (Swancaller) may not see your offer to call you for a few days as he is swamped with his marine engine repair work right now.

OH, and by the way, welcome to Sportfishermen.com

Stuart,
Thanks for clarifying that for us.

clt_capt,
As long as we can safely respond we will come and get you. I personally have been out 70 miles from Beaufort. Last year I had a captain tow a customer into Ocracoke. BTW the Big Rock is a standard call for us during the summer.

WAHOO,
If you have any concerns at all please call me. I know Stuart personally and know for a fact that he will respond as far as he safely can as well.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to call us anytime @ 1-877-SEATOW-5

Capt. Dan, Welcome to STC. Glad to see you on the board. I for one will attest to the great job thet Sea Tow Morehead does and Capt Dan has had to get me a couple of times @ NO CHARGE on the bill as I'm a member. They do a great job and are a great bunch of people. The big thing is to read your policy and under stand what is covered and what is not. Salvige is a fine line whether its "Sea Tow" or "Boat US". As for me I'm staying with Sea Tow!
