    What trip?

    Just kiddin' Curtis.
Most beautiful, wild piece of coast I've ever seen. Warm, hospitable folks and outstanding fisheries.
Saw more fish in 5 days there than I've seen the rest of my fishing life combined. Catching, however, was another story for our boat. Some sails, dodos, roosters, jacks & snappers, but well short of the other boats in the outfit and our expectations. When we finally resigned ourselves to our "not to be" fate, we finally were blessed with the catch of the trip: A major Panama and Atlas beer buzzzzzz!
Life is good and pacific Panama rocks!
We'll make a post and video some day, when NC fishing is slow.
    Cheers,
    SeaBiscuit

many cuberas (including 2 over 60) on poppers. Blacks and blues (300 - 500) galore on the bank. Yellowfins between 80 and 150 on poppers and jigs at Montuosa.
    Just not for us...
    Can't wait to go back.

Hey Curtis, funny you mention that Tony Pena was down. Our captain notified us that he was fishing and we could hear a Captain saying to him repeatedly I lu you, I lu you, I lu you! They are very proud of their ball players down there.

    oopps!

Different Tony Pena, "the roving angler" he writes articles for Marlin Magazine etc etc. He knows most of the captains in Panama especially Pesca Panama because Bartolo and Chicho used to work for them as well....

He has been going down and fishing with Bartolo for like 15 years or something like that.
