Its a pattern that has yet to let me down.....they are there every time, the creek is usually about 3" deep and about 15' wide.....once i get 3 - 4 ' of water in there its on. Once the water starts moving out they follow it back and the action gets slower and slower, heres a pic of tuesday night when i took my daughter down........the tree behind me is the same tree in the second pic. I knew it would be slow for the carp since it was pretty low and on the drop.....the second pic i am about 20 yards up stream and the fish were litterally breaking water every few minutes. As you can see in the first pic the limb above my head....in the second pic its only about 4' from the water line.....that extra 3' of water was the ticket.
