Fished on a friend's boat out of Charleston- beautiful day on the water, and we found fish. Lines in 150ft across the Edisto Banks, then worked south caught a nice dolphin first thing, kept working out to 300ft and after midday, we were busy. No slingers in this crowd, all gaffers. Last fish of the day was the best -40lb bull. Ended up w/ 6 nice dolphin. With only 2 of us fishing, plenty of fish for a fish fry tomorrow night and try out a few new grill technuques.
Congrats on a good run. I've heard the dolphin bite is outrageous. I'm not done with exams until tuesday!!!! I'm hopefully gonna hook up one a fly rod this summer.
