That berm looks pretty impressive to me.I would have to question whether or not anyone was intentionally overshooting it.I have only been there once,and it was years ago.Do you have a rangemaster on duty?

Ah,now I see it.The plywood above the benchrests is a height limit?The rifle barrel can't get high enough to clear the berm?If that's the case,I would think it's very safe.Keep us posted.Bobby.

Thanks yes that ply is so you cant raise the barrle over and fire a round above the berm.

The picture of the two trucks is where the 200 yard range is. As you can see there is no berm. That was closed down before the round went threw the window of the house memorial day weekend.

Just to get an idea the two guys standing in the 100 yard range are 6+ tall.

To the Editor, As a Durham resident and home owner in the Tri-Moun*tain area of town, I wish to ex*press my concern with the at*tempt to close Blue Trail Range. I have lived for the past 23 years within ear-shot of the range and have never felt in danger of a stray bullet. Hear*ing the sounds emitting from their firing line is music to me. Stop and listen to it.It is a sound you will not hear anywhere else in the world. A sound of free people, a sound of someone ex*ercising a right under the sec*ond amendment.
