Cabin fever and winter dull-drums were setting in here in SE PA...gave Rick Evans (Baywolf) a call and I made the 9 hour trek south to Havelock, NC. After a 2 hr. nap, we drove down to Town Creek Marina, Captain/owner Bob Gerkens fired up the 38 Blackfin Hot Tuna and out to the grounds we went. Bob Earl (owner of South Chatham Tackle) was also along; enjoyed talking with him about development of his products. Nice ride out to the 14, Rick put the spread out, trolled toward the Big Rock. Came across the edge and into some bubbly 72 degree water, we're looking for blue fin so turned back to cooler water. No bites for the day but you could not have asked for a more perfect day to be on the water in mid January. Good to hang out with Rick again and Thanks for everything! as well as meet new friends.
8 more years to retirement....can MHC use just 1 more from north of the DMZ???
