    SAT TRACKING OF A GIANT

SORRY THE PIC ISN'T BETTER BUT I TRIED

I CAN MAKE A FRAMABLE GLOSSY GREAT PHOTO OF THIS IF ANYONE WAS INTRESTED

THIS BFT WAS TAGGED OFF NC......THIS GRAPH REPRESENTS THE DAILY/MONTHLY TRAVELS AS WATCHED BY DR BLOCK

NOTE THAT THE BFT LEAVES NC AFTER THE TAG WAS IMPLANTED ...GOES UP TO THE FLEMISH CAP....HANGS OUT THERE FOR QUITE A WHILE........THEN ON TO THE SUNNY MED'....THEN BACK OUT TO MID ATLANTIC AREA...THEN LATER ON TO THE BAHAMAS...THEN IT BY-PASSED NORTH CAROLINA THE NEXT YEAR ....AND ONCE AGAIN REPEATS AND GOES BACKTO THE FLEMISH CAP ....AGAIN

THEN IT DECIDED TO GO BACK FOR A MED FOR A 2ND VISIT AGAIN WHERE IT WAS LIVE TRAPPED BY THE SPAINARDS.....THEY CONTACT DR BLOCK @ STANFORD FOR THE "TAG REWARD MONEY" ....SHE GOES TO THE MED....ENTERS THE LIVE FARM WITH SCUBA GEAR.....SWIMS WITH IT ON FILM ....RE-CAPTURES IT....TAKES THE TAG OUT SURGICALLY....BUYS IT BACK FORM THE SPANISH FARMERS OR MAYBE IT WAS MORROCON TUNA FARMERS.....WHATEVER....SAME CRAP FARMERS

THEN LET'S IT GO ....SCOTT FREE....I MEAN TUNA FREE

    NOW HOW COOL IS THAT?

    Those are great tracking stats
Where did you find this info at?
Does it show the time it took her to get between locations plotted?
I guess when she said "I'm out here" after being tagged she meant it
    Thanks

These giants are truly magnificent animals. The entire north atlantic is their back yard.
I hope they can survive human supply and demand dynamics. I hope it's not too late.

ON THE ORIGINAL GLOSSY I HAVE....ONE CAN SEE THE DAILY MOVEMENT ...THIS IS A TWO YEAR GRAPH PLOT OF HER TRAVELS

I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THE TAG-A-GIANT PRORAM FOR MANY YEARS

SINCE 1997 THE TEAMS I HAVE BEEN APART OF , INCLUDING THE "RUN-OFF" ,....HAVE PASSED OVER 150 GIANTS TO THE PROGRAM TO RECEIVE THIS TAG BY DR BLOCK

AND ON ANOTHER NOTE....I HEARD THAT THE CHARTER BOATS ARE STILL CATCHING THE GIANTS ON A RELEASE EFFORT....EVEN TODAY

Box, I would love to have a copy of it! What is really interesting is that the fish visited the med & the spawning grounds in the Bahamas. Was this a fish you passed?

Marty: Dr. Block has many of those records. at a seminar once she showed them and over laid year to year. Intresting stuff, I find that study totaly fascinating!. If you decide to copy that one I will be more than happy to buy one and pay shipping .thanks................. Don
