Sat. Out of Wrightsville

This is the first fishing post, so be kind with my formatting...

Headed out of WB Sat. looking for kings and dolphin. Ran a lot of blue and white with a couple of wahoo rigs on planers and ended up scoring 5 in the box - one decent king and some dolphin. Ended up at about 42 miles after swearing I wouldn't go further than 23. Lost my best dolphin at the boat when he spit the hook 20 feet from me - insult to to injury. All and all a good day....

Did you fish to the north (23 mile rock) or south (FPT)?
We could not find one in two hours of trolling this morning.

Started at the Cripple - trolled to the 23 and then headed offshore to the Nashville - that's where we got into a decent mahi bite.

buddy of mine caught this wahoo at the Cripple last week. Estimated at 80 lbs. Was caught slow trolling dead cigar minnows on downrigger on 20lb wire, they were king fishing
