Capt Jon, right now the catfish bite is on Lake Moultrie, or either twenty miles up the river, where we live.

The big swirls you noticed could have been either carp, catfish, or gar fish. I caught a really big gar last time we fished there. You see them a lot while fishing. Same as the carp and the cats.

Ahhh yea... gar... that is most likely what it was, I was thinking it was fast for a carp.
