Same Ole Wahoo

Got invited to go fishin some bluewater on the Big Bad Wolf (a 33 Contender with trip 250 four strokes). Caught 2 in the 40 lb range and lost two. Not on fire by any means but what an awesome day to be on the water. Very impressed with the boat. Cruised out and back at 45 mph. Awesome riding machine. Sorry no pics. The two were caught offshore of the Same Ole in 375 ft of water at 78.5 degrees. One was caught on red and black seawitch and one on black and purple marauder wtfb.

Nice catch Nick. Watch out when riding on a larger boat. Like a disease, the desire to own one will attack you!
Have you tried using the "wreck" or "hook anchor" yet?

Simmer down now! Can't afford those kinds of diseases. Very expensive cures. Have not had a chance to use the anchors yet which is a good thing cause it means we haven't lost one. Hope I never have to but I will eventually. Thanks again for the gifts.

Thanks for the report. We were out there Monday and lost something, that we assume was a wahoo, just north of the Same Ole close to the Nipples in about 325 ft on our planner rod. Thanks

That's right, Slip. We're gonna need more room for the bean bags. Come on. Take one for the team.
