It has been known for years that the answer for our future energy needs is water. The age old problem has been unlocking the hydrogen from the water. That is, one must use less energy to unlock the hydrogen atoms than than is produced with the output energy (net of mechanical loss). I wonder how much energy is required to produce the radio waves?
It sure would be nice if this holds promise.

It's no "big oil" conspiracy working here, it just the fact that it takes more energy to excite the SW for burning than it can produce. Believe me when I say this...There are many, many brilliant and powerful business people in this world that have nothing to do with the oil industry. THEY WOULD BE ALL OVER THIS if it were the real deal. Then again....whats that black helicopter doing outside my window...NO! Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That is the one thing they failed to address in the story. The story wouldn't have been nearly as interesting if they actually told us that they were putting 4 times as much energy into the radio waves as they were getting from burning the hydrogen.
