Sailfish out of New River Inlet
Caught this sail 26 miles out of New River Inlet on Saturday 8-16. The sail hit a blue and white chugger in the prop wash and we had another sail crashing the short bait on the other side at the same time but wouldn't bite. Was looking for some mahi for the dinner plate and did manage one, but will take a sail any day of the week. Great leader work by Steve Millikin and photgraphy by Scott Brewner

Outstanding catch Taylor! Congratulations to you, Steve and Scott.
Thanks for the post and pictures. Glad to see you figured out how to post the shots. Now we expect a steady stream of Topsail Island "fully documented" fishing reports from you. SeaBiscuit |

the Blue and white chugger was a Cape Lookout brand. Last weekend it caught a nice wahoo for me. and yes Biscuit- there will be more reports to follow- got to entice you and Slip up here to help me thin out the grouper herd.
