I fished on the Sea Cure in the MA 500 this yr. and won 10k w the heaviest whaoo I promise you wont regret taking his rigging course. Esp. with the new circle hook rules I feel 100% coinfident in using circles now without any doubts.

Don't be Intimidated by the world famous Box man
Anybody that is considering taking this class should jump in there.
I was a total novice at rigging ![]() After taking this class I can now rig a dead bait that will swim so well it amazes me. Now I don't get out to the deep anywhere near as much as most of the guys on this site, or anywhere near as often as I would like to. For me to go out there (on my very limited amount of trips) and screw around trying to figure this out by trial and error, I would be 110 years old before I got it right, if at all. This class gave me the confidence to go out there and not just drag spreader bars around and hope that something sticks. I can rig dead baits that will swim just as well as the pros are doing. With the right instruction (which I got from this class) and a bunch of practice (thanks for giving us those extra baits Marty ) anybody can do this. Think about how much time and money will be saved by getting all the information and tricks that has taken Marty a lifetime to compose. Not to mention he has some kick ass stories to go along with it. The class that I attended had professional charter boat captians and mates, as well as mysef and my best friend who are complete novices when it comes to this sort of thing. All egos were checked at the door and we started with the basics to get us up to speed so we were all on the same page. Box and pitchbait made it so simple to understand the basics that within no time it made sense to me. He doesn't just show you how to do it, he explains the whole process behind everything so that your not just learning from repitition but you really GET IT! Well enough of this infomercial, I just wanted anyone out there who is not signing up for this class due to the fact that they think they will be embarrased or laughed at because they don't know something basic. This is totaly not the case, I know for a fact that I asked a bunch of stupid questions which were answered as if it was the best question someone could have asked. Now this is hands on boys and girls, and he won't let you move on to the next step untill everyone in the class is doing it 100% correctly, which doesn't take long. From what I have witnessed and as listed above, this is a lifetime thing. If you have any questions or you want to sit in on another class to brush up, it's included in the cost of the class. Thanks again Marty and Bobby I hope to see both of you sometime soon. Ted
