    Replacing, Wash Down Pump

    Wash Down Pump shot,Need to Replace,over the Years I’ve had many Boats with Salt water wash downs,some had good wash Downs and some had Poor one,this is the First time I’m Replacing one,what Make,Model,Wash Down Pump,do you Guys fine works the Best on your Boat,,,,I do Appreciate all Feed Back

    We just replaced ours last spring. I forget the specs, but it was a pretty easy project. If you're happy with the one you're replacing, just take the old one to the store with you & get the same kind. That's what we did.

    We have a 1/2 horse pool filter pump. 1" hose, all the water you need.

    I would recommend using a Headhunter pump. We use the Sting Ray model for the saltwater wash down as well as our two live wells on the boat and the Mach5 for the freshwater systems. Never have had any problems and they provide up to 20 gpm max flow. Check them out headhunterinc.com
