    Replacing Skirts

    I have several Islander type lures and various others that need new skirts, most are small in diameter 1/2 to 5/8 inch and I have not been able to find a source. I am looking for something similar to a Boone Squid/octopus type 7" rubber/vinyl/mylar Any suggestions on where I can find just skirts on line.

    You could try Joe Shute's on the Atlantic Beach causeway - they have a variety of squid type skirts and hair and mylar. Another possibility is Neuse Sportshop in Kinston - they have a pretty good selection.

    Those are the 4.5" that you can find every where, it is the bigger ones I am looking for.
