Rentering The Big Rock

Now this has to be a first.Fish 4 days and your done fishing but you can pay $17,500 and get back in and fish 2 more days.........Like the guy said on the radio today it's may not be fair but nit's about how deep your pockets are.What do you think?????

I don't agree with it.. I can't blame anyone for doing it if they have the funds, but I think it tilts the playing field in favor of the bigger guys big time....

I think it's wrong.
Kinda like the Wahoo challenge last year changing the rules after sign ups were supposed to be done to get more entries.
If It's 4 out of six, Thats what it should be.
fishing the first 4 days and not seeing anything on the board
to worry about should not be an invitation to spend extra cash and get to fish 2 more days.
Once a day of fishing has taken place entries are CLOSED.
Its just wrong.

remember.......tournament gets 15% of all entry monies......so they are padding their pockets big time

I didn't see this post before I started another on the same subject....sorry bout that.

I feel like it's a bad decision by the BR. It's never been done before and probably never even been discussed openly until today. If this was going to be allowed, it should be made clear up front as it definitely plays a part of the lay-day decision by crews. Ya think Tiger Woods could afford to buy another 9 holes on Friday or Saturday during the Open? Or the Yankees buy another game during the World Series? It shouldn't happen, period. Bad on the BR.

I think that all tournaments should cease entries at the start of fishing the first day- period. Watching the leader board all week, and then entering again is BS.

THis happened in SUnset's Wahoo Rodeo last year. A guy entered on Saturday night after most boats were fished out after the first 2 days. While this late entry put another 500 in my pocket, I dare say I would have been more pissed had a guy entered late and bumped me out.

Tournament Directors need to lay off the greed. End of story.

Ditto .... Bad decision by the Big Rock. It has been done a certain way for decades. It os now truly a tourney ONLY for the Elite. One of the exciting things about it was the small boats "punchers chance". Now the odds are just too small when you throw two more days to the millionaires.

Thats exactly right! BUT, nothing is stopping figment from doing the same thing... This is a big $ tournament... ie, requires big $ period....
