Well I'm just getting in from a 15 hour drive home- the George Washington bridge sucks- here are some more pictures... I need some sleep, but stay tuned for the story..... and video....
How about Jeff's 60lb Cobia.... HOLWACHAGOT!!!
JMS with a beautiful tropical grouper of some sort
Jeff with another nice grouper...
Suffice it to say that these boys from North Carolina have a world class fishery- and I mean world class fishery- right in their back yard, and they know how to get on so many of them that your arms are tired within minutes of getting on the spot. Stay tuned, I have some awesome footage to edit up.
Wahoonbox, Bite Me, Sea Biscuit, JMS-ILM, Slip Slidin, Holwachagot, Gottaflylee, Bay wolfe, and MikeLP- we are indebted to you. You are all gentlemen (except for you Lou![]()
), and unbelieveable fishermen. I hope to fish with each of you again very soon.
Stand by for the video- it should hit in the next couple of days....
Shoefish
Shoe, glad you both got home safely. It was a pleasure to meet yous guys(that is for John) and to hang out. You could not have hit the weather better. Glad yous guys(for John again) got to put some fish in the box. Hope to be able to fish with you all next time. Look forward to the reports, pics, and video. Bring it on. Slip.
Y'all:
For us damn yanks, March is usually a dreary month that seems to drag on forever before we get to wet some lines. But our trip to y'all's backyard this March goes down in my book (and Shoefish's too) as the all time greatest March.
CaptCL & WahooNBox you said it best, your Boyz stepped up big time to make it happen. And we thank you all Team SFC!
It was a brief splash, but we enjoyed every minute. And we must do it again!
I hope you guys (especially you BiteMe) learned a bit about the proper protocols of toasting your fishing victories with a taste of Nassau Royale vanilla rum during the cruise home. That is a Shoefish special and BiteMe is right, "that stuff should be illegal!"
Can anyone think of a better way to start a day than with a juicy rib-eye steak, eggs and grits? I don't think so. Thanks SLIP!
All yous guys now have an open invite to cross that damn George Washington bridge anytime (except at 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon) to visit me and the Shoefish up here, Shoefish got a new credit card at his new job and it ain't worn in yet!
Keep in touch,
trollman (after BiteMe kicking our arses i am gonna be a better trollman than before!)
We will have to do that again sometime.
This is what the cockpit is supposed to look like to get her rigged for trolling!
Yep, she's a fine ride.

You two are welcome south of the DMZ anytime. I enjoyed meeting you both and hope you enjoyed playing in our back yard.
Mike
That's going to look mighty good with "Bite Me" on the back....
Looking good there.
Looks like the boys got to do some jigging. They are some of the best at it.
Pretty work to all of you. Glad you made it home safe Shoe.
I can't wait to see the video.
