Re-Introduction
Aloha,
I’ve been a member of SportFishermen.com for some time now, having first introduced myself back in October of 2007. Even though I’m in Hawaii, I’ve come here to learn what I can of how you folks do things on the “right” side of the country so that I can employ what makes sense to use out here on the far, far left. I’ve learned lots, especially from WAHOONBOX, and enjoyed many humorous threads. I’ve posted some, usually with a touch of humor and always as an individual fisherman with no affiliation, but I haven’t posted much because, when not asking a question, I try to only post actual fact or my own actual experience as opposed to opinion because, like an okole, everybody’s got their own opinion.
You may have seen a couple of catch reports I’ve posted up including an ahi caught this past President’s Day using an Archer SuperBar. I’ve been buying and experimenting and learning about Archer bars for several years now and have found that they work very well. They ain’t magic, you still got to put them where the fish are and run ‘em as they should be, but in my experience they did draw strikes where other lures did not. After years of buying and learning about and catching fish with Archer bars, I’ve recently been honored to join the Archer SuperBar Pro Staff. Now when I post it will no longer be as an unaffiliated individual. I will still only post fact or my own actual experience, when not asking a question, so there’ll be no difference, but I just want to be upfront about my new affiliation, for those to whom such things matter.
My area of experience, obviously, will still be Hawaii fishing, and I hope to give y’all glimpses into it from time to time. Oh, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for Rio and Gio too! Tight lines to y’all and keep posting up pics, especially of giant bluefin tuna; we love our tuna out here but don’t get to see or catch any GBFT.
Mahalo (thanks), I look forward to continued happy times here in WAHOOHBOX...W2MW,
lawaia
