Sorry for the late report guys, your support is greatly appreciated. I would like to thank the BOX for this great place to post and learn. I didn't know to much about this sport untill I met him a few years ago on a fishing cleaning table at Anchorage Marina were he had the meat layed out and I jumped in to help him. I asked him questions the whole time we were cleaning and he told me a few things and while mentioning his postings on the web. Since then I have seen every video and saved every tip that he gave on my hard drive.

We fished our hearts out Monday, switching baits all day untill we were satisfied with the spread. We had our first bite at 2:10 a small dolphin we quickly pulled the hooks and set back out. There was three of us in the cockpit talking about having a big bite and here she came a big fin coming across the spread to the left short, she swallowed it and went away from there. She tailwalked for us just beyond the longrigger baits. We quickly cleared lines and got around on her, (did I mention that all this was taking place on 50w). She settled down and dug there under the boat for over an hour we finally get her up and couldn't believe the way she looked there gave complety out, it was so awesome. We did the duty and drug here in the door. It is a dream just to catch a fish like this anytime and we are just happy it happened. Thanks Marty for the great video and I thank everyone here at this site for all the tips and support. This tournament is not over yet they are alot of good fisherman down here with blood in there eyes.

Congrats on your fish you are right this Tournament is far from over you 2 more days to catch a bigger one good luck you deserve it you have fished hard.
