Mikey G spent the afternoon getting bait and was just getting back to the marina when we got there. We loaded up Ruthless.... went to the fuel dock for the first time this year. It sure is a lot better then last year.... it's good to see diesel is less then gas again. We paid $2.22 per gallon.
Ran to the fishing grounds and proceeded to catch nothing but bluefish for the end of the incoming tide and half of the outgoing. Oh wait.... I did manage to catch a snail.
The blues were monsters and non-stop. We couldn't buy a bite from the man in the striped pajamas but we still had plenty of action.
Fist trip this year that we didn't get the intended species on board.... I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later....glad it's out of the way.
