Ok here you go Box, your computer comes with a standard 3GB's of ram as you have listed. RAM also called memory is basically a chip about 5 inches long x 1 inch wide that plugs into the mother board of your computer. Now the connection on your mother board is PC2-5300 DDR2. If you want to go and purchase some more memory for your computer go to the local best buy and tell them your want the cheapest PC2-5300 DDR2 ram they have in either a 1GB or 2GB size. (Make sure this memory is PC2-5300 DDR2 or it will not fit into your mother board) Now open your computer up, look at your mother board and un plug one of the 512MB sticks of memory and replace it with the new 1GB or 2GB you just purchased. And you have just increased your memory from 3GB to either 3.5GB - 4.5GB depending on the size of memory your purchased.Originally Posted by WAHOONBOX
