I understand Hubris' point, but personally I get enough of the C-view in the summer and wouldn't mind a month or two with the sunset in Panama.

Got out to the hannibal bank yesterday with Chicho Bartolo and Bartolo's son Amed...

9am-3pm on the bank we had a decent day

1 30lb Snapper Rojo (jig)
2 25lb Mullet Snapper (Jigs)
1 30lb YFT (popper)
1 80lb YFT (live bonita perro)
1 45lb Dorado (chunk at the stern)
and.....oh yeah C/R 300lb Blue Marlin (live bonita)

SICK day of fishing....flat out...there is no place with that variety in such a small area...

Will have a full report and video of course when I return.....

dont you miss this country? i watch guy's like you go every where and i gotta tell you...... i really dont envy it. i know its beautiful and quiet, simple and easy. but before everyone chimes in with AWESOME! isnt it a little lonely? not trying to be an ass, just need more in life to thrive. no? if that's it, good for you. not trying to be a jerk but its soooooooo far from home. i could not do it. as i've gotten older, my feet grow roots! good luck! only when your young can you do it.

My friends are planning a trip your way in August....
Luckily their Euros will take them a long way!
If I had moved here this year instead of 2000, the beach house and boat would have been for free and there would have been some left for a place in Panama!!!!
