----and people wonder why there is tension between the recs and professionals offshore---- why Channel 18 sounds like a Red Fox rountine in Dec./Jan.-----
Commercial fishing is a profession that IMO should be left to professionals---- not a bunch of kids wanting to play with their toys interfering with those trying to make a living and a setting up a kool aide stand mentality.
This thread is a discrace to us recreational fishermen that work so hard to build and maintain respect and repor with the professionals on the water.------
Nothing personal as I don't personally know you.

Animal 1; I'm with you Looks to me like he's trying to add to his posts, as it looks like, he knows what, he needs not speak about This is what I found, take a look at the bold print I just need to find the rest of the regs. ATLANTIC TUNAS AND HMS PERMITS PROGRAM

All owners/operators of vessels (commercial, charter/headboat, or
recreational) harvesting regulated Atlantic tunas (bluefin, bigeye,
yellowfin, skipjack, and albacore) must obtain an Atlantic tunas or
    HMS vessel permit.
Atlantic tunas permits are issued in five categories (all commercial). These
categories are: General, Harpoon, Purse Seine, Longline, and Trap.
Atlantic HMS permits also cover (in addition to tunas) sharks, swordfish,
    and billfish.
The HMS permit categories are Angling (recreational) and
Charter/Headboat. Only one category may be assigned to a vessel per
    fishing year.
Atlantic tunas may be sold only by vessels possessing an Atlantic tunas
permit or an Atlantic HMS Charter/Headboat permit and may be sold only
to permitted dealers. Atlantic tunas may NOT be sold by vessels
possessing an Atlantic HMS Angling category permit. Certain seasons,
size limits and possession limits may apply.
NMFS maintains an Automated Permitting System to apply for and renew
Atlantic tunas and HMS permits. Vessel owners may renew or obtain an
initial (new) permit by using the internet at: www.hmspermits.gov or by
phoning toll-free (888) USA-TUNA. The 2007 fishing year is set for June
1st through December 31st, 2007, and the 2008 fishing year is set for
January 1st through December 31st, 2008. Permits are being issued to
cover both the 2007 and 2008 fishing years. Due to the duration of the
permit, changes to you permit category may be made under the following
circumstances: a) When you renew the permit for the upcoming season; b)
During the time period of January 1 – May 31, 2008; or c) Within
10-calendar days from the permits’ date of issuance, to correct any
    errors in permit
