Good to hear things are going alright for you Ray! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the cobes will be fired up once again. Jacks and sharks! Like you say Ray, pullage is pullage. I ran around 35 trips last season for just jacks and sharks. Very simple fishing and everyone gets to catch a large fish and I usually don't have to worry about cleaning anything when I get home. $$$$$ is what it is about.

i think the plain and simple answer is that sharks just don't get our blood pumping. i don't know why, but drift fishing a chum slick is just not something we have the patience for.

don't worry though not everybody is into to billfishing either.

You cant get anyone to shark fish down here.I have tried for a longtime, NOBODY wants to pay to shark fish or even go.I dont get either.Throw a bunch of tunas on the dock everyone looks,throw a shark on the dock, people swarm like flies.Who knows.
