Sorry wahoo. Next trip I go on there will be a video camera. For sure. I made it offshore but do to seas up here in block canyon never got to dunk any lures. We chunked the night away and headed for the barn in the am. Im doing great. Im up too two broken fingers for the year. Stuff happens. I did dunk it and came up with a name. Its the boone bar made by bonehead inovations. We it got dunked for a minute in the connecticut river we where going to fast then too slow. Man all i can say is this white water. I cant wait to get offshor and put this to the reel test. Its going to be sick.

Team Canada Rocks!
Very Cool - I would beef up the leader over 150lbs. maybe 200lbs or 250lb if the baits will still swim right. reason being is when you do catch of fish, those lines will get all tangled. I learned a long time ago that the smaller diameter line has more memory and will tangle more often. The thicker line will resist. No need to be stealth since the whole idea of a bar is to create a commotion. I learned from Capt Jamie Reible who runs the Phideaux charter boat out of OI fishing Center.

Squide thanks for the tip. I did shorten it up thank god I did. I put 150 going down the middle. Im not sure how its suposed to run. No clue at all. all I can say is the bar stays out of the water and there is a ton of white water. All you see after you lock up the reel is a wall of water and a spreader bar.
