    Pro Mate/Capt suddenly needs work

I left a good charter boat job at Sailfish Marina to accept a 3 month job going to the Bahamas. I also gave notice for my apartment. The boss changed his mind 6-7 times, before settling on this---He does not need a mate for the 4 weeks (not 3 months) that they will be in the Bahamas. so now I am homeless & unemployed. send $, cash or checks (J-E-F-F K-I-R-B-Y), to 123 Furlong Way, ....just kidding.

but I need work. some of you know some private boaters & charter guys. IF you hear of ANYTHING, or are in need of an experienced hand--capt, mate or guide---please drop me a line. this is happening at just the time that pretty much all the spots are filled here in Palm Beach, the boats going to the Bahamas are already there, and the charter spots in the mid-atlantic are filled as it is early in their season.

    thanx

p.s. can furnish resume. IF you have a remote interest, I can fill you in on who I am & where I have been, who I've fished with, etc....I'm not a rockstar, but very capable of doing a good job.

    Jeff,
Sorry to hear about the Bahamas gig. Good luck in your new search. I'll keep in touch if I hear anything.

Fellas, Jeff is understating his skills because that's the kind of guy he is. You will be glad to pick up some like him, beleive me. Great attitude, skilled mate and your charters will have a great time with Jeff in your pit.

I have contacted a lawyer & am assured that I have an easy case.

Beware of Roy Cronacher & the Force Majeure, 71 Jim Smith.

Jeff, with a name like Force Majeure, my guess is your adversary knows a thing or two about the law as well.
One thing I can assure you--- there are no "easy" cases
    Best of luck though

Jeff, I hope you are not serious about trying to sue an owner for changing his plans. I know you got screwed, but do you really want to be the guy known for suing owners? Plus I know something of the man you are dealing with (friends of mine have worked for him, and I have been to dinner with him in Mexico years ago, if it is the same Force Majuere), and his pockets will be much deeper when it comes to taking this to court than yours will.

I know you are upset, but this is just some friendly advice from someone who has been there.

I have a little experience in our fine justice system so I'll chime in here....unless it's life threatening or in the 7-figure range...... it's not worth it. Suck it up and move on.

Our justice system is far from being about justice and the truth. Once you pass beyond those large oak doors....night can become day.....black can become white....and the party usually ending up winning (besides the lawyers, because they win EVERY time) is the guy with the most $$$ and the best connections.

Trust me on this one Jeff...straight from the voice of experience. Not to mention the stigma that Franky mentioned above....and Glenn W.....well let's just say that ole' Glenny knows his way around a court room.

    Good luck!
