    Thanks guys, it wasn't a huge one, but we will take it ! I was talking to my son who whacked a stud 8 pointer on the phone when the rod went off. I was feeling bad about leaving him to hunt without me for the first time ever on the opening day of Pa buck season. I left Pa early yesterday morn, finished our preparations , and Ricky and I were fishing some of the ugliest green water we ever drug a ballyhoo through when she ate.

    Looks like my son didn't need me to hunt with him after all, and only being 50 gallons of diesel and one pack of hoos into our first fish helps ease the pain a bit.
