Whats the purpose of the line that trails the dredge?
Cool stuff Trey... No talk no BS, keep up with it!!!
Quite different from pickin' in the North river...
So, can we find your oysters in the Triangle?
Are there any farmed oysters in the Pamlico?
MM
Thanks - Gonna be a while until the next Deadliest catch fix, so this was a great warmup.
Good vid Trey, you remind me of your dad on a boat...Same area or have you moved?
Yea Lee they are working the same area.Marty thanks for the post above. We got to do what we got to do to make it nowadays. Some are saying we are tearing up the bottom,If we didnt get the oysters they would silt up and die,Its kinda like cutting the grass, the more you mow the thicker it gets.Baring a red tide or some other stuff that would kill the oysters. They will be just as thick or thicker next year.Hes out this morning trying to gettem before the blow comes.
Yep we gottem again today glad we left an hr early this morn cause its was gettin right. NE dont play in pamlico sound they say 2'-3' on the vhf but its was gettin to be 3-4 with some of them head high triplets mixed in
