Sorry to distract the thread Boxman. That pic was in my inbox this AM.

Yeah, I've been using that experimental forecast. Most of the time, its pretty damn accurate. What it lacks is wave steepness. Like most things, you really need to use best judgement. Easy to guess 4-6's with winds blowing at 20 kts usually spells "ass whoopin". But guestimating 5-10' wind wave height vs rolling swells with diminishing winds gets a little tricky.
