Got in the stand 45 min before the sun went down wed and 5 min in the stand a one horn young buck steps out. we have been trying to cull him out but no one has had a close enough shot at him. He is out 200 yards, pull the trigger drop him like a ton of bricks. stay in the stand because it has only been 5 min...... 5 min later i spot a rack moving in the short pines.......find a clearing 100 yard shot nice size 7 point. dont deer hunt much but this was a nice trip. 2 bucks in less than 10 min in the stand. while I was dragging out the 7 point a doe steps out and keeps looking back hopefully bowinkle was behind her!! that will have to be another story.
