Dad is kickin ass and taking names! Today was a great day. His physical and mental recovery in the last 24 hours has been called "miraculous" and "remarkable" by the doctors.

So happy to have my Dad back

Man Im sorry, Your Dad will be in my thoughts.. Im on Long Island taking care of my Dad who is very sick thith Pancreatic Cancer, I don't pray but keep the faith my friend...Ken

Prayers sent. Trust me I know EXACTLY what you are going through. SF.com has sent many prayers up for my dad over the last several yrs. I would do anything in this world to get my dad back on my boat, he has now lost both legs and is in a wheelchair. I have told him I could get him in but he will not go. I would go spot fishing which is what he LOVES but can not talk him into it. But prayers here do work I promise you. Let us know how he does. By the way you mention he was pro athlete what sport? That is pretty cool.
