nauti, not all boats built the same but I'll to try to answer your questions. Stringers are tied to the inside skin. On mine, the inside skin is also tied to the splash well all the way across. The top sides of the transom are tied to the cap. I did not have to wrap the glass around the sides but I did wrap over the splash well all the way across. I'm not an engineer so before you start on yours, post some pics on Classicseacraft and see what kind of feedback they give you. In my case, the pour stuff bonded to the inner and outter skin. If you used plywood, you would glass that to both skins. The pour is suppose up to 5 times stronger than plywood and the type I used will not absorb water.
