Politically pissed off!!!

Just before hearing this bullshit that our president just spewed out, I was listenting to the radio news and heard something that really pissed me off! According to the Wall Street Journal, in the last few days Pres. Obama signed a bill that sends 2 BILLION of our tax payer dollers to Brazil. What for? For deep water oil exploration off the Brazil coast. What really pisses me off is that we have just had a 6 month moritorium and clousure on all USA deep water rigs and exploration. The other thing that really posses me off is that the contract for the Brizial exploration says that CHINA of all places gets 100% of all the oil found. The USA gets nothing. Oh wait just a minute, I forgot, there is one American that reaps the benefits of this deep water exploration, one that has donated millions to Obamas political career and the head of the liberal lefts, "Moveon.Org", George Sorras. What happened to taking this money and helping the thousands of Americans that are suffering in the Gulf? Something here is criminally wrong here. Spending American citizens tax dollars to benefit both Brazil and China that don't give a shit about the USA, and putting this 2 bilion dollars into an American business man like George Sorras makes me sick!!

It seems either you misunderstood the radio or were listening to Rush L./Glenn B.
First, this happened in August 2009-- not June 2010. Second, the $2 Billion you refer to was a loan from the U.S. Export/Import Bank ( that's what this Govt bank does, lend money to allies to foster our own economic interests--- Obama did not sign any bill or legislation or any other mandate regarding this loan)--
Now, the questions is: why did the Import/export bank lend $2 billion to Brazil to foster the developement of oil????---
A. To lessen our dependance on middle eastern oil by helping develope more oil in the western hemsiphere (outside of Venezuala). At the Time ( Aug. 2009), The Offshore Alaska and Atlantic waters were still off limits, no such restriction in the Gulf of Mexico.

So, This aid that you refer to was (1) a loan from the export/import bank wose duty is to lend money to allies; happened almost a year ago; (3) was done to lesson our dependence on Arab oil.

If you want to get REALLY politically pissed off, go the the U.S. Export Import web site and look at the press releases during the Bush Administration: Loans to Nigeria, Mexico, India, China for Oil production---- aloans to China to produce Farm Equipment--- the list goes on and on for activities that will really get your nads in a vice. It was neither Glenn or Rush that I was listening to, but a regional radio news report. Mistakes happen or opinions get more involved than they should before airing comments. Sorry if the information that was relayed over the air waves was not correct. I had nothing to do with that. But this doesn't change any of my opinions on the current administration.
