This hurricane Ike has got me really worried about my friends and family. They all live around the Galveston area. I am afraid they are going to get hit really, really hard.
My sister lives on the beach.

I lived through the experience of Katrina and I think Ike is going to be just as powerful.

My SFC family came to the aid after Katrina, and I am sure the pictures of the distruction are still fresh in their minds and probably will always be.

I am asking that my SFC family please keep my friends and family in your prayers until this storm passes.

If it hits as hard as Katrina did they will lose everything, they are fishermen like us.

When I spoke to them today, most were packing, but... Mom and Dad were doing their "well, we will see" bit to me.. needless to say, I was giving my speach to them on how bad it can get. I hope they go further inland then what they were telling me.. they are only going inland about 20 miles.

I feel your pain all my family Is scattered around FL and I go through the same stuff almost every year. I did talk my folks into a small RV that they can go north in when need be. hang in there. Scotty.
