Pittsboro Courthouse Fire: North Carolina Historical Courthouse Severely Damaged, John Edwards Sextape is Safe

The Pittsboro courthouse fire started Thursday afternoon at about 4:45 p.m. (March 25). The historic courthouse in North Carolina was in charge of safekeeping the materials from the Sen. John Edwards' case, including the alleged sextape. The cause of the fire is to be determined.

The historic courthouse of Pittsboro house the evidence for the legal battle between John Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter and his former aide. The alleged sextape and other court materials were kept at a separate location.
