Pirate's Cove Over Spring Break?

My dad, Sydney, Matthew, and I will be in Pirate's Cove, from the 22nd-30th of March, for spring break. We were hoping for a little feedback on what's gonna be around and what's gonna be biting. We hope to be out on the water most of the time, so let me have it.

Any kind of advice or suggestions are welcome! Thanks guys!

According to the reports from PC and Oregon Inlet, there are bluefin offshore and drum and stripers near the beach...

Thanks for the comeback clt. We are hoping to get out as much as possible & to try for as many species as possible.

What else is around on the troll & how far are we going to have to run?

Also how is the deep dropping for tile, grooper etc?

I know it is early in the season for Oregon Inlet but this is the week the kids are off.

Hopefully some good reports to follow.

Depending on where the water is, you may do better out of Hatteras for Bluewater fishing. The Point is 35 miles (your closest spot out of OI) and the Tile fishing is great inshore.

Next time you go south and want to try Cape Lookout we can offer a place to stay. Would be fun fishing alongside you guys with similar size, but slower boat... We'll be fishing every fishable day of spring break starting friday.
