The incredible fishing from yesterday carried over to today and even got hotter. 53 boats fished (23 chose to lay) with 94 releases and 1 boated. The Caroline, Big Oh, and Pelican all had 7 releases each with the Canyon Express releasing 6 and the Mimi (as well as several others) releasing 5.

At 3:09 the Sea Hag hooked up to a blue marlin and was still hooked up as boats were pulling back into the slip. They killed the fish at 5:55 and finally pulled back into the marina around 9:15. I was standing beside the wife of one of the crew and she told me that they thought the fish was between 650 and 700. When I saw in on the deck, I knew it was definitely a good one and the scales confirmed it....755 lbs. Really fat, healthy fish.

I got several pictures of the fish but it was dark and they didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Congratulations the crew of the Sea Hag! I think a lot of boats are taking a lay day tomorrow and fishing their final day on Friday. Was only able to get a few dockside pictures as well due to the stormy weather here this afternoon.
